Why We Are Offering This Program

Our Dress for Success Program provides essential business attire to job seekers and interviewees, supporting their professional journey. Starting in November 2024, we collect and distribute business attire at our corporate office and Elevated location. The program aims to boost job seekers' confidence and self-efficacy, which research links to better job search outcomes. By offering guidance on professional dress and understanding evolving standards, we help individuals present themselves confidently and enhance their employment chances.

The Impact of Confidence and Professional Attire

Research has shown that increased self-efficacy and confidence play a crucial role in boosting job seekers' success. Studies on new graduates and personal values highlight the positive relationship between confidence and job search outcomes. Our program provides guidance on professional dress, helping individuals present themselves confidently and enhancing their chances of securing employment. By addressing these needs, we support job seekers in achieving their career goals.

Free Suit Rentals Provided by Men’s Wearhouse

TBMF’s Dress for Success aims to provide professional business attire to job seekers and individuals preparing for job interviews, ensuring they have the confidence and resources to succeed. By organizing community clothes drives and collaborating with local businesses and sponsors, we foster a sense of community support. Collected clothes are stored at various field locations and our corporate office, ensuring easy access and efficient distribution. We promote the program through social media, TBMF's website, and community outreach, increasing donations and participation. 

 

Additionally, we offer guidance on dressing for interviews and share success stories to inspire others. By continuously collecting feedback and evaluating our impact, we strive to improve the program and meet the evolving needs of the community, ultimately helping individuals achieve their career aspirations and build a brighter future.

Instructions for Men’s Wearhouse Free Suit Rentals

  1. Contact Men’s Wearhouse:

    • Call/text 817.741.6771 or 817.845.5795 to set your appointment to rent your suit.

  2. Prepare Required Documents:

    • Picture ID

    • Proof of residence (DFW area)

    • Proof of upcoming job interview (Name, location, etc.)

    • Note: Job interviews will be verified.

  3. Pick Up and Drop Off Location:

This service is provided by Men’s Wearhouse in collaboration with The Bettered Men Foundation, aiming to support young men in the DFW area.

Instructions for Business Casual Attire and Free Fresh Haircut
